These books are adorable and my kids think they are hilarious.  The whole “Dinosaur vs….” series is about a dinosaur who faces big kid tasks and tries to get out of them, but the tasks always win. Things like going to the potty, being quiet at the library, listening to his mommy and bedtime just seem to always get the better of him and his continuous roar.  The illustrations are bright and slightly childlike but so playful.

Bob Shea does an excellent job incorporating things that kids relate to in his books, and choosing animal characters such as sharks, dinosaurs, monsters and tigers – that appeal to kids in general.  His books are just silly and MEANT for kids.  My 4-year-old and 2-year-old both grasp the concepts and are always laughing through them.

Oh Daddy A silly daddy who just can’t seem to get basic kid instructions right

Don’t Play With Your Food All this monster wants to do is eat bunnies, but the bunnies keep tricking him out of it
