Toddler Made Deviled Eggs

This little “recipe” is a fun activity for toddlers. The results isn’t perfect but the process is an awesome experience, and it tastes great too!

YOU WILL NEED

One hard boiled egg (here’s my favorite fail-proof method for easy-peel hard boiled eggs!)

One ziploc bag

A butter knife/dull plastic knife

1 tsp mayo

1/8 tsp mustard

1 pinch of salt and pepper

LET’S GET STARTED!

Peel the egg

Cut it in half

Put yolk into your ziploc bag

Squish the yolk

Add your mayo, mustard and a pinch of salt and pepper… smush it some more!

Next cut a corner off the bag, and squeeze all the contents back into the egg white.

At this point my kids were off, running to the next activity 🙂 Neither of my kiddos like egg yolk so they weren’t so thrilled to eat the end result… But maybe your kids will love it! I ate these deviled eggs and I loved them.

Here were my 2 and a half year old’s attempts and her final product!! I love what she comes up with! It was her idea to flip over the one I had filled and put it on top of her own filled egg.

Recipe Notes

I give credit for this idea to my friend Ongelique from my church! Brilliant!
