Preheat oven to 350F.
In a large mixing bowl, beat together eggs, sugar, oil and pumpkin until light and fluffy.
In a separate bowl mix together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt and soda. Add this mixture to the large bowl of liquid ingredients; mix thoroughly.
Spread batter in ungreased 15x10 baking pan (jelly roll pan).
Bake at 350F for 25-30 minutes until it springs back when touched.
Let it cool completely, then frost and cut into bars.
Cream butter and cream cheese together with a hand mixer. Add vanilla. Slowly add powdered sugar a little at a time until smooth. Spread over cooled pumpkin bars before serving.
